A group of 24 Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering students visited MRL Engineering Sdn. Bhd. in Ayer Keroh, Melaka, on 21 April 2025. The visit was organized by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology’s Industrial Linkage Committee (ILC) as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen ties between academia and industry. The delegation was accompanied by academic staff member Dr. Logah a/l Perumal.

The MMU team was warmly welcomed by MRL Engineering’s management, led by Dr. Aminuddin bin Ahmad Kayani, the Chief Executive Officer. Students received a comprehensive briefing on the company’s operations and enjoyed a guided tour of the production facility. They had the opportunity to witness traffic light control systems in action and engage in meaningful discussions with industry professionals, gaining valuable exposure to real-world engineering practices and safety protocols.

This visit reflects the university’s commitment to providing students with industry-relevant experiences that complement classroom learning. By fostering such collaborations, the university aims to equip future engineers with practical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and professional awareness.
