FCA Student Wins “Most Promising Filmmaker” at SeaShorts Film Festival 2019

Jeremy Emang Jecky, our student from the Faculty of Cinematic Arts (FCA) won Most Promising Filmmaker award at the SeaShorts Film Festival 2019 that was held in Melaka recently. The festival is dedicated to film festival for Southeast Asian short films. Beyond film screening, the festival also featured forums, workshops, exhibitions and music performances by filmmakers across the five-day event. This annual event highlighted emerging and renowned talents from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam – in line with the festival’s S-Express guest programme which focused on the region’s filmmaking scene.
