On 13 August 2026, the Faculty of Business (FOB), in collaboration with Sekolah Menengah Sains Datuk Setia Abdul Ghani Ali, continued its Knowledge Transfer Programme (KTP) 2026 with “CyberSmart: Fundamental Cybersecurity Awareness for Secondary School Students.” The programme involved the second batch of Form 1 to Form 3 students and focused on introducing them to basic cybersecurity awareness and safe online practices.

The students participated in several activities, including cybersecurity quizzes, phishing email simulations, scam awareness discussions, password-strength challenges and cyber safety poster presentations. These activities allowed them to learn about common online threats in a more interactive way while understanding how to identify potential risks and protect themselves online.

The programme also covered topics such as phishing, online scams, personal data protection, password security and digital identity. Through these sessions, students were encouraged to be more careful when sharing information online and to make safer decisions when using digital platforms.

The programme was led by Ms. Siti Nurul Huda Mohd, together with Dr. Yeo Sook Fern, Ms. Haniza Hashim, Ms. Nur Baiti Shafee and Ms. Shadia Suhaimi. Their efforts and commitment contributed to the smooth delivery of the programme and provided students with an opportunity to learn more about cybersecurity in a practical and engaging setting. The initiative is part of faculty’s continued efforts to share knowledge with the community and help young people develop greater awareness of cybersecurity and responsible digital practices.

Well done!
