FOM Shares Educational Pathways and Support Opportunities with Hulu Langat Community

The Faculty of Management (FOM) conducted a Knowledge Transfer Programme (KTP) session with Pertubuhan Pembangunan dan Pendidikan Masyarakat Daerah Hulu Langat on 12 August 2026 at Balairaya Taman Sri Putra, Banting, Selangor.

The session focused on Educational Support Systems, providing participants with an overview of educational pathways and available support mechanisms from primary and secondary education through to higher education. The programme was aimed at helping parents and community members better understand the options available to support children and young people throughout their educational journey.

The session also highlighted the importance of early educational planning and continuous support, encouraging participants to take a more active role in guiding children and young people in making informed decisions about their education and future development.

Through the knowledge-sharing session, participants gained practical information that could be applied when exploring educational pathways and opportunities. The programme also provided a platform for the community to engage directly with FOM and benefit from the faculty’s academic knowledge and expertise.

The successful session further strengthened FOM’s engagement with the local community, demonstrating the university’s commitment to creating meaningful social impact through knowledge transfer and community engagement.
