The International Collaboration and Engagement (ICE) welcomed its incoming exchange students for the March/April 2026 trimester with a Welcoming Dinner and Movie Night held on 10 April 2026 at the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM).

The event brought together around 40 international students from Germany, Japan, Brunei, Thailand, and Indonesia, setting the tone for their academic journey at MMU. The evening began with an informal welcome session, followed by light activities including a singing session and a movie screening. The relaxed setting provided students with the opportunity to get to know one another, build connections, and ease into campus life.

Also present were Director of ICE, Dr Sy Nurleyana Wafa Binti Sy Naguib Wafa, and Deputy Director, Dr Thong Li Wah, whose attendance reflected the university’s continued emphasis on supporting international students and enhancing their overall experience. The event served as an early platform for cultural exchange and interaction, helping students feel more at home while fostering friendships across different backgrounds. Such initiatives are part of MMU’s ongoing efforts to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for its global student community.
