Representatives from the Cyberjaya Accounting Club (CAC), accompanied by Ms Hamsatulazura binti Hamzah, Programme Coordinator for the Bachelor of Accounting from the Faculty of Management, participated in the CCF Leadership Series 2026, organised by Cheng & Co Foundation, on 2 April 2026 at the Cheng & Co Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. The session featured distinguished speakers En. Abd. Halim Ahmad, Partner of Halim Ahmad & Co, and Dato’ Dr. Chua Hock Hoo, Founder of Cheng & Co Group.

The panel discussion offered valuable insights into the role of professionals in personal development, society, and nation building, while also providing practical guidance on building a career in professional services. Among the key takeaways were the importance of perseverance, having a clear vision, and proper planning in achieving success. The speakers also emphasised the need for professionals to uphold integrity and contribute meaningfully to society.

Students found the session both inspiring and relevant to their future careers. One participant shared that the session “opened our eyes to the reality of the profession and reminded us that success is a journey that demands consistency and purpose,” while another noted that it “motivated us to plan our career path more clearly and strive to become not just competent accountants, but impactful individuals.”
