MMU through its commercial arm, Cnergy continues its long-standing collaboration with the BHN Association, Japan with the commencement of the 27th BHN Human Development Programme recently. The initiative marks another milestone in a partnership that has been empowering ICT professionals from developing countries since 1998.
Over the years, the programme has made a significant impact, benefiting 204 participants from 13 countries through 26 successful programme editions. Many alumni of the programme have since gone on to become leaders and key contributors to ICT development in their respective nations.
This year, the programme welcomes nine participants from across Asia, representing Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam. The participants share a common aspiration to strengthen digital transformation and ICT development in their home countries.
The programme will begin with a series of online learning sessions conducted by MMU, providing participants with foundational knowledge and insights before they continue the programme in Tokyo, Japan in October 2026. During their time in Japan, participants will take part in industry visits, expert lectures, and cultural exchange activities.
Through this initiative, MMU continues to play an active role in supporting international capacity building and advancing ICT knowledge across borders.
