MMU and SMJK Tinggi Cina Melaka Collaborate to Enhance Student Development

On 11 February 2026, MMU and Sekolah Menengah Jenis Kebangsaan (SMJK) Tinggi Cina Melaka formalised a partnership to support student development and educational initiatives.

The collaboration was formalised through the signing of a Letter of Intent (LoI) by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, and Mr. Peong Poh Boon, Principal of SMJK Tinggi Cina Melaka. Encik J Sham bin Wahid from Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah (PPD) Melaka Tengah witnessed the ceremony and representatives from both institutions were also present.

The partnership aims to provide students with exposure to higher education pathways and support in areas such as academic enrichment, technology, and future-ready careers. It marks the beginning of a long-term effort to create meaningful learning experiences and strengthen cooperation between the two institutions.

During the event, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham also delivered a motivational talk to the students, inspiring them to pursue their academic and career aspirations. The collaboration is expected to benefit both students and educators, laying the foundation for continued engagement and shared learning opportunities.
