MMU Students Clinch Medals for Malaysia at SEA Games Thailand 2025

We are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of three student-athletes who represented Malaysia at the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games Thailand 2025, held from 9 to 20 December 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Alang Ariff Aqil Muhammad Ghazalli from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) brought honour to both the nation and the University by securing the gold medal in the Archery Compound Men’s Team event alongside his teammates.

Adding to Malaysia’s medal tally, Ariana Nur Dania Binti Mohamad Zairi from the Faculty of Management (FOM) delivered an impressive performance by clinching two silver medals in the Archery Recurve Women’s Team and Recurve Mixed Team events.

Meanwhile, Aisya Eleesa Erni Firdauz, also from FCM, showcased her sporting excellence by winning two medals with her teammates, a bronze medal in Women’s Cricket (T10) and a silver medal in Women’s Cricket (T20). Another MMU student who proudly represented the Malaysian contingent was Chua Jia Tien from the Faculty of Law (FOL), who competed in the chess event.
