On 15 December 2025, approximately 250 Form 1 to Form 3 students participated in a programme titled “Dari Bilik Darjah ke Kerjaya: Pengembaraan Melalui STEM” at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Kuala Lumpur. The session aimed to inspire students to see how classroom learning can evolve into meaningful careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

The session was delivered by Mr. Khairil Anuar from the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI), who shared his insights on the journey to becoming a STEM professional. He highlighted key educational milestones from secondary school to university and beyond, with special emphasis on Form 3 students, who are at a crucial stage in choosing their subject streams for the SPM, particularly in science and mathematics.

Using real-world examples and relatable experiences, the talk introduced students to various STEM pathways, including computing, cybersecurity and emerging digital technologies. Students were encouraged to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as a positive learning mindset.

All in all, the programme is hoped to have inspired and motivated students to consider STEM as a future career choice and to have increased awareness of the opportunities available through STEM education.
