Accounting Students Take Part in CIMA Leadership Bootcamp 2025

About 30 accounting students from Cyberjaya campus joined the Leadership Bootcamp 2025 on 6 December in Kuala Lumpur, organised by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). The programme was designed to prepare students for the professional world, boost employability skills, and give them a clearer view of global accounting standards.

The bootcamp offered students a hands-on opportunity to learn about the changing role of management accountants, meet industry professionals, and explore various career paths. Through interactive activities and leadership exercises, participants improved key skills such as communication, teamwork, confidence, and problem-solving essential tools for succeeding in today’s business environment.

Students shared positive feedback, saying the bootcamp helped them better understand career opportunities and feel more confident in taking their next steps. Overall, the CIMA Leadership Bootcamp 2025 provided valuable experiences for students while strengthening ties between the university and the industry.
