MMU’s Young Innovators Secure Runner-Up Award at CIC 2025 Grand Finals

Two of our talented homegrown teams, Cityfix and FLOW Vending Machine clinched the Runner-Up Award at the Convergence Innovation Competition (CIC) Asia 2025 Grand Finals on 1 December 2025.

Ng Jia Hong from the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) pitched his project, Cityfix, while Ava Jeslina, Abigail Siew Kar Yan, Ashley Shakyna, and Geneva Tsen Fan Qin from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) presented their project, FLOW Vending Machine, mentored by Ms. Raja Razana Raja Razali from the Faculty of Applied Communication (FAC).

Despite being among the youngest competitors in the arena, our teams stood strong against other finalists from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), De La Salle University (Philippines), and Waseda University (Japan). Each team received USD 1,000 for their outstanding achievement.
