The Faculty of Management (FOM recently welcomed External Examiners and an Industrial Advisory Panel to review and strengthen its Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) and Bachelor of Finance programmes in November 2025. The visits focused on curriculum review, programme flow, and teaching and learning activities to ensure the programmes remain up to date and relevant to industry needs.

For the BBM programme, Dr. Noor Fareen Binti Abdul Rahim and Ms. Saliza Binti Abdullah provided feedback on curriculum design and observed classroom activities. They also held a session titled “Insights into Modern Management: Challenges and Opportunities in Today’s Workplace”, engaging students and staff in discussions about the skills needed in today’s business environment. Group interviews with students and faculty offered additional perspectives on the programme’s strengths and areas for improvement.

Meanwhile, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazrul bin Hisham visited the Bachelor of Finance programme to review its curriculum, course delivery, and quality assurance processes. He also conducted a session for students on “Capital Structure Decisions”, sharing practical insights on financial strategies and corporate decision-making. The visit highlighted the importance of keeping the programme aligned with industry trends and the best global practices.

Both visits provided valuable recommendations to help FOM continue improving its programmes. FOM Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Booi Chen stated that these engagements support our goal of producing graduates who are well-prepared academically and ready for the workforce.
