A Memorandum of Understanding and an Exchange Agreement were signed between MMU and Multimedia University of Kenya during the Malaysia-Africa Higher Education Forum (MAHEF) 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya.

The pacts were signed by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, and Prof. Eng. Livingstone M. H. Ngoo, marking a commitment by both institutions to work together in academic and research development.

Held from 23 to 24 November 2025, the forum was also attended by Malaysia’s Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, together with leaders from across Africa. The accompanying education fair also attracted a notable number of prospective students from Kenya, demonstrating strong interest in pursuing studies in Malaysia and at MMU.

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham also made a courtesy visit to Multimedia University Kenya campus accompanied by Dr. Sy. Nurleyana Wafa Sy. Naguib Wafa, Director of International Collaboration and Engagement (ICE).

This collaboration represents a meaningful step towards strengthening Malaysia–Kenya academic ties, and MMU looks forward to creating more opportunities for students and staff in both countries.
