MMU Team Crowns Champion at SIRIM IIE 2025

A project entitled “PULSEWISE: Next-Gen Heart & Lung Diagnostic”, led by Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Kanesaraj and his team, won the Champion Award at the SIRIM International Industry Exhibition (IIE) 2025, held alongside the International Conference on Quality and Innovation (ICQI 2025) on 19 November 2025.

The event gathered global leaders, industry experts, and policymakers to showcase innovations aligned with Malaysia’s ambition to become an AI-driven nation by 2030. PULSEWISE’s victory reflects MMU’s commitment to AI-driven innovation, quality, and impactful solutions for society.

MMU also proudly showcased two additional innovations at the exhibition: Smart Toilet and NautiSense: AI-Powered Coral Health Monitoring and Fish Readiness Prediction. Both teams demonstrated strong technical capabilities and creativity, contributing to MMU’s presence and visibility on this national platform. Their efforts continue to strengthen our innovation pipeline and set the stage for future breakthroughs.

These achievements were further strengthened by the support of the Technology Transfer Office (TTO), which plays a key role in nurturing ideas, preparing teams for competitions, and accelerating innovation toward commercialization and industry impact.
