Over 800 participants and more than 1,000 attendees, including teachers, parents, and school visitors from across the country, attended the X-Change Summit 2025 at the Melaka campus recently. Jointly organised by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) and the Association of Young Innovators and Technologists, the summit served as an avenue to inspire and empower the next generation of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) talents through a series of competitions, showcases, and interactive engagements.

Participants competed in six exciting competitions: InnoXTech Challenge, RoboticX, Mathematical Olympiad X (MOX), CubeX, CodeX, and StacX. In addition, the event featured several booth and showcase activities such as Blockathon (soon to be introduced as a new competition), the LadyBug Robot Hackathon, Robotics Showcase, Rubik’s Cube Booth, Mathematical Olympiad Booth, VEX Robot Operation Game, as well as special showcases by the MMU Robocon Team and MMU SEMA Team. Ahead of the main event, Pre-X Workshops for RoboticX and MOX were conducted to prepare over 130 participants and teachers for a more meaningful competition experience.

The summit was graced by YB Allex Seah Shoo Chin, EXCO for Entrepreneur Development, Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs, Melaka, and included international judges from Naresuan University, Thailand. Most notably, the event was officially recognised by the Ministry of Education (MoE) as a national-level programme (IxT X-Change Summit), making participants eligible for PAJSK marks. Kudos to everyone involved for making the X-Change Summit 2025 a meaningful and successful event.
