More than 50 students took part in a two-day Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) held from 13 to 14 October 2025 at The INNOLab, Cyberjaya campus. The programme aimed to equip aspiring student entrepreneurs with essential startup knowledge and practical skills.
The first day featured a session on “Legal Matters for Startups” delivered by Ms. Nur Syakirah Hj. Maimun Aqsha Lubis and Ms. Nur Najiha Jamil from the Faculty of Law (FOL). Participants gained valuable insights into the legal aspects of entrepreneurship, including business registration, partnership structures, intellectual property protection, and compliance requirements.
On the second day, Ms. Hamsatulazura Hamzah from the Faculty of Management (FOM) conducted a session on “Financial & Accounts for Startups.” The session covered key areas such as financial planning, cash flow management, and basic accounting principles essential for business growth and sustainability.
Overall, the programme enhanced students’ understanding of the legal and financial aspects of entrepreneurship, preparing them to navigate their journey as future entrepreneurs with greater confidence and awareness.
