Enhancing Student Growth through Workplace Dynamics Talk

More than 100 students gained new perspectives and insights from a session delivered by Ms. Mizpa Mijares, a Personal Image Consultant and Owner of Alta Premier Consultancy, recently. Coordinated by Dr. Mohd Fairuz Abd Rahim, a lecturer from the Faculty of Management (FOM), the session explored approaches to work, building rapport and respect across generational lines, and positioning oneself as an adaptable and valuable team member.

Students were also exposed to practical knowledge and skills in navigating a multi-generational workplace. The speaker highlighted the importance of understanding different communication styles, values, and expectations while fostering self-awareness and adaptability. The session not only enhanced students’ understanding of workplace dynamics but also equipped them with strategies to strengthen their personal and professional growth.
