MMU Welcomes Muzium Pahang Delegation

On 19 June 2025, MMU had the honour of hosting a reciprocal visit from Perbadanan Muzium Negeri Pahang at its Cyberjaya campus. The delegation was led by YH Dato’ Ahmad Farid Abd Jalal, Director of Perbadanan Muzium Negeri Pahang, and was warmly received by MMU President, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud.

The visit marked a continuation of the growing relationship between MMU and the state museum authority, with both parties engaging in productive discussions on potential collaborations. These included joint initiatives that blend cultural heritage with academic innovation, particularly through creative and digital platforms.

During the visit, the delegation was given a guided campus tour, which included stops at the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) and the Faculty of Cinematic Arts (FCA), both of which hold strong potential for future partnerships in heritage documentation, digital storytelling, and immersive cultural experiences.

Also present to welcome the delegation were Prof. Ir. Dr. Zulfadzli Yusoff, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement & Touchpoint (MEET); Mr. Zambri Pawanchik, Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Admission and Recruitment (SMART); Ms. Nadia Mahmud, Dean of FCM; Mr. Shahfeeq bin Jibin, Dean of FCA; and other MMU officers.
