Faculties Commend Student Excellence at Dean’s List Ceremonies

The Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FIST) celebrated the achievements of its top-performing students at the Dean’s List Award Ceremony, held on 6th May 2025 at the Exam Hall, Melaka campus. The event was attended by over 400 guests, including students, faculty members, and proud family members. Certificates were presented by the Dean of FIST, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Siti Fatimah Abdul Razak, to students who demonstrated exceptional academic performance and commitment throughout the trimester.

The ceremony honoured students who maintained high CGPAs while actively participating in campus life, showcasing a strong balance of academic excellence and personal growth. It was a meaningful occasion to acknowledge their hard work, focus, and determination.

Meanwhile, the Faculty of Management (FOM) celebrated the achievements of its top-performing students at the Trimester 2430 Dean’s List Award Ceremony, held on 7th May 2025 at the TMDA Digital Theatre. The event recognised 367 outstanding students from the Diploma, Foundation, and Degree programmes for their exceptional academic performance and unwavering dedication to their studies.

Gracing the event were the Dean of the Faculty of Management, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Booi Chen; Deputy Dean of Academic and Innovative Learning, Dr. Hasni Mohd Hanafi; and Deputy Dean of Postgraduate & Collaboration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasliza Hassan. The ceremony commenced with an inspiring speech by the Dean, followed by the presentation of certificates to all Dean’s List recipients. Adding a vibrant touch to the celebration, the audience was entertained by the faculty’s talented performer, Ms. Nina, and OBT from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia.
