Engineering Students Discover Career Tips through Talent Suites Session

On 7 May 2025, an inspiring career talk titled “Planning for a Successful Career: Interview, Starting a Job, Perform and Progress in Career” was jointly organised by Career Connect and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) at Melaka campus.

The session was conducted by Ms. Puteri Nor Hamidar, Managing Director of Talent Suites, an employment agency that also provides training and consultancy services. More than 40 engineering students participated in the session, gaining valuable insights into effective interview preparation, adapting to workplace expectations in their first job, and strategies for continuous professional growth in their respective industries.

Ms. Puteri also introduced the Talent Suites’ Graduate Programme, which offers final-year students a structured pathway to begin their careers through guided development and mentorship opportunities. The session was also attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liew Kia Wai, Deputy Dean of FET, who presented a token of appreciation to the speaker. It is hoped that this initiative will empower students with the necessary tools and confidence to succeed in their future careers.
