A total of 55 students from the Faculty of Business (FOB) participated in a transformative training session titled “Master Your Mind: Tools for Focus, Resilience & Success” in April 2025. Organised by Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students majoring in Human Resource Management as part of their Training and Development course, the session focused on equipping students with practical tools to enhance focus, emotional well-being, and resilience. The event was officiated by Dr. Kavitha Raman, Programme Coordinator for the BBA (HRM) Department, who highlighted the importance of inner strength and self-awareness in navigating academic and personal challenges.
The session was led by Ms. Geeta Krishnasamy, a renowned Mind Coach and HRDC-accredited trainer with over 20 years of experience. Her unique approach, which combines neuroscience, clinical hypnotherapy, and ancient practices, captivated students and provided deep insights into mental mastery. Through guided breathing exercises, full-body scans, and mindfulness techniques, participants learned effective strategies to sharpen concentration and manage stress. A standout moment was the live brainwave biofeedback demonstration, where students observed in real time how their mental states influenced brainwave activity. Many described the experience as both calming and inspiring. More than just a training session, the event served as a meaningful step toward personal empowerment and growth.
