MMU and Teesside University Discuss Potential for International Collaboration

On 12 October 2026, MMU welcomed a delegation from Teesside University, United Kingdom, led by Professor Chrisina Jayne, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement and Partnerships, to its Cyberjaya campus.

Coordinated by the International Collaboration and Engagement (ICE) team, the visit was attended by Prof. Ts. Dr. Lau Siong Hoe, MMU Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement and Touchpoint (MEET), faculty representatives and Dr. Sy. Nurleyana Wafa Sy. Naguib Wafa, Director of ICE.

The delegation also met with MMU President, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud. The visit provided a platform for both universities to exchange views on areas of mutual interest and discuss potential opportunities for academic engagement and international collaboration. Following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two universities, the visit also served as an opportunity to discuss plans for collaborative activities and explore ways to put the partnership into action.
