MMU Tchoukball Team Secures Third Place at Asia Pacific Youth Championship

We are pleased to celebrate the achievement of MMU students, who secured third place in the Under-23 category at the 8th Asia Pacific Youth Tchoukball Championship 2026, held from 20 to 21 August 2026 at Velodrom, Iskandar Puteri, Johor.

Competing against six teams from across the region, the MMU team delivered a commendable performance throughout the championship, earning a place on the podium while proudly representing the university at the regional level.

The achievement reflects the team’s dedication, teamwork and commitment throughout their preparation and competition. Their performance also highlights the talent and sporting potential of MMU students beyond the classroom.

Competing on a regional platform, the team’s performance demonstrates the growing sporting talent among MMU students and their ability to compete confidently alongside teams from across the Asia Pacific region.
