A Knowledge Transfer Programme focusing on CV writing, employability, scholarship applications, and sponsorship readiness was conducted at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Alam Megah 2 on 7 August 2026 and SMK Seksyen 27 on 11 August 2026. The programme aimed to help secondary school students better prepare themselves for future academic and career opportunities.
Led by Ms Nor Hazleza Mohamad, the programme was supported by an academic team comprising Dr Abdul Aziz Ahmad, Dr Noor Shahaliza Othman, Dr Abby Ashraf Bin Saprudin, Ms Nursyamimi Binti Houd, Ms Norzarina Binti Md Yatim, Dr Azrena Binti Mohd Nor, and Mr Zulkefly Bin Yusup.
The workshops included personality assessment activities, career readiness discussions, hands-on CV writing sessions, and elevator pitch exercises. Students were guided on how to present their academic achievements, leadership experiences, co-curricular involvement, and personal strengths in their CVs.
The sessions also covered professional profiling, the differences between CVs and resumes, and ways to present their strengths when applying for scholarships, sponsorships, and future employment. Students were also introduced to the importance of integrity, personal branding, leadership, and demonstrating their contributions through achievements and community involvement.
Through the programme, students gained practical knowledge in CV writing, career planning, and professional communication. They also had the opportunity to identify their strengths, articulate their aspirations, and understand how to better prepare for applications to higher education institutions, scholarship and sponsorship programmes, and future employment.
The initiative reflects the organising team’s efforts to support career readiness among school students and strengthen the link between their academic experiences and future opportunities. Through practical guidance and knowledge sharing, the programme provided students with an early introduction to the skills needed to navigate their next steps in education and career planning.
