The Faculty of Management (FOM) recently hosted the FOM Sejati MADANI Business Ideas Exposition 2026, bringing together creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit in a vibrant showcase of student talent in June 2026. Held at the FOM Atrium, the event served as the final assessment for students enrolled in the Entrepreneurship course, with 20 teams pitching their business ideas to a panel of industry practitioners and academic judges.

Coordinated by Dr. Muhammad Nizam Zainuddin and Dr. Azrena Mohd Noor, the exposition provided a practical platform for students to translate classroom knowledge into real-world applications. Each team presented business concepts, prototypes, and solutions designed to address current market and community needs. Throughout the session, students demonstrated strong creativity, critical thinking, and pitching skills, while gaining valuable feedback from experienced evaluators.

The panel of external judges featured industry players including Mr. Chandra Arjun (Founder, CUCI Malaysia), Mr. Yusrizal Ome Bin Yusof (Founder, Pop Cone Ice Cream Catering), Mr. Muhammad Saifuddin Bin Hassanmudin (Hyundai Malaysia), Mr. Rubandren Rajah (HR Professional and aspiring entrepreneur), Mr. Wira Bin Yusoff (CEO and Founder, Adella Ovens Sdn. Bhd.), and Mr. Azaini Aizat Bin Abdul Jalil (Business Development Manager and Founder, FLOW Studios Sdn. Bhd.). They were joined by FOM’s internal judges, Dr. Nurul Nadia Nordin, Dr. Noor Shahaliza Binti Othman, Dr. Kwan Jing Hui, and Ms. Noor Maslina Binti Md Damiri, whose insights enriched the evaluation process.

The Sejati MADANI Business Ideas Exposition reflects FOM’s continued commitment to experiential learning, bridging academic theory with industry practice. Initiatives like this not only expose students to the entrepreneurial ecosystem but also help build the confidence, communication skills, and business mindset needed to succeed in today’s dynamic landscape.
