The Faculty of Management (FOM) conducted two training programmes for managerial staff from TM at TM Digital Academy, focusing on enhancing leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
Held on 23 June 2026, the Strategic Thinking and Decision Making programme was facilitated by Dr. Jack Ng Kok Wah and Dr. Goh Han Hwa. Participants were introduced to key strategic thinking concepts, including long-term planning, problem-solving, and decision-making aligned with organisational goals. Through group discussions and practical case studies, they learned how to evaluate options, manage trade-offs, and make informed decisions using structured approaches such as Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM).
The following day, Dr. Jack Ng Kok Wah conducted the Leadership Presence & Personal Branding programme for managers and Assistant General Managers (AGMs). The session focused on helping participants strengthen their leadership presence, build an authentic personal brand, and communicate more effectively. Interactive activities, role-playing exercises, and peer feedback sessions provided opportunities for participants to apply the concepts learned in a practical setting.
Both programmes received positive participation and provided valuable insights to support the professional growth and leadership development of the participants. It is hoped that such initiatives will continue to strengthen industry collaboration and contribute to the development of capable leaders and executives who can drive organisational excellence and sustainable growth.
