A total of 40 students from Universitas Lembah Dempo (UNILED) took part in the five-day Global Mobility Programme 2026 held at the Cyberjaya campus. Facilitated by the International Collaboration and Engagement unit, the programme offered a well-rounded experience that blended academic learning with cultural exposure and meaningful interaction.
The UNILED delegation was led by its Rector, Dr Elvera, who was also present for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and Student Exchange Agreement between UNILED and MMU. This milestone reflects a shared commitment to strengthen academic collaboration and expand opportunities for future student mobility and joint initiatives.
Throughout the programme, participants engaged in interactive workshops, campus visits, and collaborative activities alongside MMU students. These sessions encouraged knowledge sharing, cross cultural understanding, and the development of broader global perspectives. The inclusion of environmental sustainability activities further highlighted a collective awareness on responsible practices and the importance of environmental stewardship.
An industry visit to MONSTA Studio provided valuable insights into Malaysia’s creative industry, giving students a closer look at innovation and content development within the animation sector. The experience was complemented by educational and cultural visits around Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur, including iconic landmarks such as KLCC, Dataran Putra, Putra Mosque, Perdana Putra, and the National Monument, allowing participants to better appreciate the nation’s heritage, governance, and cultural diversity.
The programme concluded with a farewell dinner featuring cultural performances, creating a warm and memorable ending while strengthening friendships and connections formed throughout the five days.
Overall, the Global Mobility Programme 2026 reflects the university’s continued efforts in fostering global engagement, promoting intercultural understanding, and building meaningful international partnerships that enrich the student experience.
