MMU–Comarnet Collaboration Enhances Hands-On Learning Opportunities

MMU has strengthened its industry collaboration efforts through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Comarnet Sdn. Bhd. on 2 April 2026 at its Cyberjaya campus. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, and Mr. Fauzul Hazwan Khalid, Chief Executive Officer of Comarnet Sdn Bhd.

In his remarks, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham expressed his appreciation to Comarnet for their commitment and collaboration, highlighting that the partnership reflects a shared vision in nurturing future-ready talent. He also welcomed Mr. Fauzul Hazwan back to his alma mater, noting that he is an MMU alumnus from the Class of 2014, having graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) from the Faculty of Management.

The collaboration marks a significant step in strengthening industry linkages, with both parties committed to enhancing student employability through real-world exposure and practical learning opportunities.

Through this MoU, Comarnet has been recognised as MMU Cadetship Structured Company and both parties will collaborate in organising employability programmes and initiatives that provide students with hands-on experience and deeper insights into industry practices.

To date, seven MMU students have been engaged by Comarnet under the iCadet programme, reflecting the company’s active role in supporting talent development. This partnership is expected to further expand such opportunities and provide a stronger platform for students to gain industry-relevant skills.
