Students from the Faculty of Management (FOM) visited the GSK APAC Hub in Petaling Jaya on 14 April 2026. The hub functions as a Business Service Centre covering finance, human resources, and commercial services for GSK’s operations in the Asia Pacific region. The visit was part of an industry exposure programme aimed at familiarising students with real workplace practices and environments. It was led by Ms Fatin Zaida Zaidi, with support from Dr Sunita Lylia Hamdan and the ACE team.

During the visit, students were welcomed by the organisation’s leadership team and had the opportunity to engage with staff members, including representatives from the Human Resource team. The sessions provided insights into workplace culture, daily operations, and potential career pathways within a multinational company.

Students were also briefed on internship opportunities available at the organisation, as well as employer expectations for graduates entering the workforce. Key attributes such as professionalism, adaptability, and communication skills were highlighted during the sharing sessions.

Overall, the programme allowed students to interact directly with industry practitioners and gain a clearer understanding of how classroom learning connects with real working environments.
