Eighteen students and two lecturers from MMU were among the 53 Perajurit Muda (Young Soldiers) who successfully completed the Kursus Asas Perajurit Muda Sukarela (APMS) Course Series 1/26, organised by the 1st Battalion, 515th Regiment of the Territorial Army in collaboration with the Reserve Military Elite Club of MMU. The course was held from 7 February to 8 March 2026 at MMU Cyberjaya. The closing ceremony took place at the Dewan Tun Canselor and was attended by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, along with other university leaders.

Throughout the programme, participants underwent a series of basic military training modules aimed at developing discipline, resilience, and leadership qualities. The training included weapon handling, basic combat tactics, marching drills, as well as physical and mental endurance exercises, providing participants with essential exposure to military fundamentals.

MMU’s participation in this programme reflects the university community’s commitment to nation-building, leadership development, and volunteerism. The experience and knowledge gained through the training will serve as a valuable foundation in shaping disciplined and capable members of the Askar Wataniah, who stand ready to contribute to the defence of the nation.

Well done!
