MMU participated in a Majlis Berbuka Puasa Bersama Rakyat held at Masjid Raja Haji Fisabilillah, Cyberjaya on 4 March 2026.  The event was graced by Duli Yang Teramat Mulia (DYTM) Raja Muda Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah, who represented Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, the Duli Yang Maha Mulia (DYMM) Sultan Selangor.

During the ceremony, MMU, represented by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, presented RM1.525 million in scholarships and education financing for children from the kariah of the mosque, reflecting the university’s commitment to expanding access to higher education and supporting community development.

Following the breaking of fast, Duli Yang Teramat Mulia (DYTM) Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah joined members of the community in performing Maghrib, Isyak and Tarawih prayers together at the mosque.

Also attending the event were Prof. Dr. Zulfadzli Yusoff, Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development, Mr. Zambri Pawanchik, Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Admission & Recruitment, Mr. Abdul Lazi Nordin, and other MMU officials. All in all, MMU’s participation in the event highlights the university’s continued commitment to community engagement and social responsibility through education initiatives that benefit the surrounding community.
