MMU Students Bag Silver at BIZPORA 2026

Congratulations to a trio of MMU students for bagging the Silver Award in the Services category at BIZPORA 2026 on 5 February 2026. The event, held at UniKL City Campus, is a pitching challenge that encourages students to develop solutions using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants were guided by industry experts, MARA stakeholders, and seasoned practitioners in turning their innovative ideas into reality during the two-day programme.

The team was led by Jay Surya A/L Anandarao from the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FIST), with Ruvenesvaran A/L Manivannan from the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) and Ornob Hossen from FIST. They were supported by the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC), which provided guidance throughout the preparation.

Facing competition from other institutions, the team impressed the judges with a solid business idea, clear presentation, and industry-relevant solution, earning them a cash prize for their effort. In addition, Ms. Putri Syaidatul Akma Mohd Adzmi, Deputy Director of Alumni Engagement, Career and Entrepreneurship Development (ACED), was invited as one of the panel judges for the programme.
