A community service project was conducted by a group of students from the Faculty of Management (FOM) under the guidance of Ms Norzarina Md Yatim in January 2026. Through the three-hour volunteer initiative at Rumah Kanak-Kanak Triniti Children’s Home, Petaling Jaya, the students engaged directly with children from different age groups, allowing them to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting while gaining first-hand experience in serving the community.

By planning and facilitating activities such as a dance workshop, treasure hunt, and lucky draw, the students strengthened their teamwork, leadership, and organisational skills. Meaningful interactions with the children further enhanced the students’ communication abilities, empathy, and emotional intelligence, as they listened to the children’s stories and offered encouragement and support.

Overall, the initiative reinforced the importance of community engagement and social responsibility, nurturing the students’ civic awareness and equipping them with practical skills and values essential for their personal and professional development.
