MMU Lion Dance Team Achieves Double Victory at “TARUMT CUP”

Let us congratulate the MMU Cyberjaya Lion Dance Team for clinching the champion title in the University Category and first runner-up in the Open Category at the TARUMT CUP Lion Dance Competition held on 18 January 2026.

Competing against teams from various institutions and professional groups, the MMU Lion Dance Team demonstrated exceptional technical skill, coordination, and artistic expression. Their success in both categories reflects the team’s versatility, discipline, and dedication to excellence.

The team was led by Associate Professor Dr Ng Kok Why and Tan Jing Huang, with support from Team Assistants Ong Lee Wei and Lim Cheah Jun. The performance team comprised Lee Wei Lin (Lion Head), Sua Jun Yi (Lion Tail), Luther Lau Tian De (Drummer), Adrian Tan Chee Haw, Siow Zhi Xuan, Law Chin Xuan, and Law Kah Liang (Cymbal), as well as Yeo Chun Hean (Gong).
