On 16 January 2026, Mr. Terry Swee Chee Yoong, Founder of Vesbo Malaysia, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Redbox Karaoke Malaysia, and CEO of Redpay Malaysia, as well as an MMU Permata Dunia alumnus, was welcomed to the Melaka campus for an Industrial Advisor Visit for the BBA (Hons) International Business programme.

The visit was hosted by the Head of Department, Dr. Chow Mei Min, together with the Programme Coordinator, Ms. Anushia A/P Chelvarayan. The programme commenced with a welcoming address by the Deputy Dean of Student Experience and Alumni, Mr. Tan Gek Siang. This was followed by a comprehensive programme briefing by Ms. Anushia, outlining the structure, learning outcomes, and continuous improvement initiatives of the International Business programme.

Subsequently, an engagement session was held with International Business lecturers, during which valuable insights and constructive feedback were shared to further strengthen teaching, assessment, and curriculum alignment with current industry needs. Mr. Terry Swee then engaged with International Business major students, providing practical perspectives on industry expectations and career readiness.

A key highlight of the visit was a sharing session titled “How to Succeed in the Current Global Market?”, delivered by Mr. Terry Swee. Drawing from his professional experience, he shared valuable insights into global business trends, adaptability, and the essential skills required to thrive in today’s dynamic international business environment.

The visit concluded with an exit meeting that summarised key observations, feedback, and recommendations for future programme enhancement. Overall, the Industrial Advisor Visit was highly impactful, reinforcing the programme’s commitment to academic excellence, industry relevance, and continuous quality improvement.
