FOM Strengthens DBA Programme Through Strategic Engagement with Industry Advisory Panel and External Examiner

On 8 January 2026, the Faculty of Management (FOM) welcomed Dr. Kasuma Satria bin Mat Jadi, Chief Human Resources Officer at Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Sdn. Bhd. (PROTON), who was appointed as the Industry Advisory Panel, and Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Teoh Ai Ping from the Graduate School of Business, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), in her role as External Examiner for the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme.

The visit began with a welcoming address by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Booi Chen (Dean), along with Dr. Kwan Jing Hui (Deputy Dean, PGC), and members of the Postgraduate and Collaboration Committee (PGC), followed by a series of academic reviews of the DBA programme led by the programme coordinator, Dr. Tan Chi Hau.

The discussions with faculty members and DBA students offered valuable input and insights to ensure the programmes remain relevant to industry needs and academic standards, guiding the programme’s ongoing development. The session concluded with a token of appreciation presented to the distinguished guests to acknowledge their insightful sharing and contributions.
