Engagement with the school community was successfully carried out through the delivery of a “Motivation on Academic Excellence” talk to Form 4 and Form 5 students (approximately 450 participants) at SMK Bandar Puncak Jalil on 13 January 2026. The primary aim of the talk was to cultivate a positive mindset among students by strengthening their motivation towards academic excellence, fostering self-belief, discipline, and resilience, and guiding them to make informed and responsible decisions in planning their educational and career pathways beyond secondary school.
The session was specifically designed to inspire students particularly those in Form 5, to recognise the importance of consistent effort, good character, and purposeful goal-setting as they prepare for the SPM and future academic challenges. Emphasis was also placed on developing appropriate attitudes, emotional intelligence, and responsible behaviour, highlighting that academic success must be complemented by strong values and personal integrity.
In addition to its motivational and developmental objectives, the session strategically incorporated awareness-building and promotional exposure to academic programmes offered by the Faculty of Management (FOM) as well as other faculties at Multimedia University (MMU). This outreach initiative provided students with early exposure to higher education options, helping them better understand the pathways available at MMU and how these align with their personal interests and career ambitions.
The session generated high levels of engagement, evidenced by numerous student enquiries during and after the talk regarding further education opportunities at MMU. Notably, strong interest was shown in programmes related to Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Cinematic Arts, and Engineering, reflecting the effectiveness of the session in enhancing institutional visibility while simultaneously supporting students in making more informed decisions about their future education.
