FOM Engages with GSK APAC Regional Hub to Reinforce Industry Collaboration

On 20 January 2026, Ms Fatin Zaida Zaidi and Dr Sunita Lylia Hamdan from the Faculty of Management (FOM), together with Mr Albert Quek from Career Connect, visited the GSK APAC Regional Hub in Kuala Lumpur. The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration between the university and the company.

During the visit, the team attended presentations by MMU students currently undergoing internships at GSK. The students shared their roles, experiences, and key learning outcomes, offering insight into their professional development. The visit also included a discussion with the GSK Human Resources team, focusing on students’ performance, internship experiences, and potential areas for future collaboration between MMU and the company.

The engagement offered valuable perspectives on enhancing industry–academia partnerships, particularly in internship placements, talent development, and collaborative initiatives. The visit also provided students with practical exposure to the workplace while reinforcing FOM’s ties with industry partners.
