MMU Contingent Brings Home 8 Medals at Varsity Swimming Championship 2025 (Grand Final)

From 6 to 7 December 2025, MMU participated in the Varsity Swimming Championship 2025 (Grand Final) held at the Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) Aquatic Arena in Kuala Lumpur. Our talented athletes delivered an outstanding performance, securing three gold medals, four silver medals, and one bronze medal. Their remarkable achievement also placed MMU in fourth position overall in the grand final.

• Christy Teh Xing Ti, Faculty of Law (FOL) – 100m Backstroke (Women) & 50m Backstroke (Women)

Silver Medals

• Christy Teh Xing Ti, Faculty of Law (FOL) – 100m Butterfly (Women)
• Wong Yi Thung, Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) – 50m Freestyle (Women)
• Anselm Lee Jun Xian, Faculty of Business (FOB)- 200m Butterfly Men & 400m Freestyle Men

Bronze Medal

• Wong Yi Thung, Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) – 50m Backstroke (Women)
