FOM’s Bachelor of Finance Now a CFA University Affiliated Programme

On 3 December 2025, the Bachelor of Finance (Honours) programme offered by the Faculty of Management (FOM) officially received CFA University Affiliated Programme (UAP) status. This recognition is an important step in helping our students prepare for the CFA examinations.

Being a CFA UAP means the programme is aligned with the CFA Programme Candidate Body of Knowledge, giving students a stronger foundation in finance and better preparation for the CFA exams. It also provides access to CFA Institute resources, enhances the programme’s credibility, and offers networking and career opportunities for graduates in the finance industry.

This achievement would not have been possible without the commitment and dedication of the faculty leaders: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Booi Chen, Dean of FOM, Dr. Hasni Mohd Hanafi, Deputy Dean Academic and Innovative Learning, and Madam Zarehan Selamat, Programme Coordinator.
