FCM Lecturer’s Artwork Featured in Malaysia’s Contemporary Art Exhibition

The artwork of Ts. Dr. Roopesh Sitharan from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) has been selected for inclusion in the ILHAM Art Show 2025, which runs until 5 April 2026. He is among 20 artists chosen through a competitive open-call submission and regional jury process, with two of the selected artists being academic staff from MMU.

Organised by ILHAM Gallery, the exhibition highlights original works by Malaysian and Malaysia-based artists and serves as an important platform for creative experimentation and the discovery of new artistic voices. The showcase features a diverse range of contemporary practices, including installation, film, painting, mixed media, and new media. This selection reflects MMU’s continued support for creative exploration and innovation in the arts.
