Bridging Classroom Learning to High-Growth Careers with SAP

A sharing session titled “From Classroom to Enterprise: Exploring High-Growth Careers in SAP” was conducted under the Industry Learning Partner (ILP) initiative for second-year students of the Faculty of Management (FOM) in November 2025. The session was delivered by Mr. Calvin Tan, Regional ERP & Procurement Sales Leader at Olive Technologies, who is also our Permata Dunia and an alumnus from the Class of 1999.

During the session, Mr. Calvin shared his journey from MMU graduate to industry leader, providing students with practical insights into the rising demand for SAP professionals and the essential skills required to thrive in today’s digital enterprise environment.

Coordinated by Ts. Dr. Anusuyah Subbarao, the event was also graced by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Booi Chen, Dean of FOM. This session proved beneficial for students as it offered industry-relevant knowledge and valuable networking opportunities, preparing them for high-growth career pathways in the evolving digital economy.
