FOB Students Deepen Their Understanding of Cybersecurity

On 19 November 2025, a group of 28 enthusiastic students from the Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) Digital Business Management programme, Faculty of Business (FOB), embarked on an insightful I-Cadet company visit to Nexagate Sdn Bhd, a leading cybersecurity solutions provider in Malaysia.

The visit featured a series of engaging briefings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and an exclusive site tour, giving students a firsthand look into the dynamic world of cybersecurity and risk management. Throughout the day, students gained valuable insights into the latest cybersecurity trends, explored real-world applications, and learned essential job market preparation techniques from industry experts, including Mr. Khairil Effendy, Founder and Managing Director, and Mr. Tuan Faisal Azmy, Chief Growth Officer of Nexagate Sdn Bhd.

This experience not only broadened their understanding of the digital business landscape but also equipped them with practical knowledge to thrive in the evolving digital economy. The I-Cadet initiative continues to bridge the gap between academia and industry, empowering students with future-ready skills and meaningful professional exposure.
