YCEF 2025 Cultivates Innovative Thinking and Entrepreneurship

Over 120 participants took part in the Young Creative Entrepreneurs Forum (YCEF), hosted by the MMU Business Society (MUBS) in collaboration with the Melaka State Executive Councillor for Entrepreneur Development, Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs and the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Malaysia on 27 September 2025.

The event brought together aspiring entrepreneurs and industry experts, featuring invited speakers including business owners and founders who shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship and business development.

The forum was graced by Mr. Danny Sim Yong Seng, representing YB Allex Seah Shoo Chin, Melaka State Executive Councillor for Entrepreneur Development, Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs, together with Prof. Dr. Hishamuddin Ismail, Melaka Campus Director, and other distinguished guests.

During the event, MMU students showcased their innovative ideas through a pitching competition, demonstrating creativity and entrepreneurial thinking. Overall, the forum served as a dynamic platform for students to engage with business leaders, exchange ideas, and broaden their horizons in the field of entrepreneurship.
