MMU Stands Firm in THE World University Rankings 2026

MMU is ranked in the 1001–1200 band of the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026 out of a total of 2,092 participating universities worldwide. The result was announced on 9 October 2025.

This result reflects MMU’s steady performance on the global stage, underpinned by continuous progress across all pillars, including teaching, research environment, research quality, industry, and international outlook.

Notably, MMU attained a score of 74.8 for the Industry pillar, reflecting its research-led, industry-driven focus and impactful contributions to innovation. MMU’s international engagement in academia and research has also contributed to a commendable score of 64.0 for the International Outlook pillar.

This achievement is made possible through the dedication and passion of our students, the tireless efforts of our staff, the support of our industry partners and Permata Dunia alumni, as well as the collaboration of our research partners. Together, we uphold MMU’s reputation on the global stage, and together, we will keep advancing towards greater heights.
