MMU and SRMIST Forge Strategic Partnership through Virtual MoU Signing

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed virtually between Multimedia University (MMU) and SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), India, on 22 October 2025. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, attended the ceremony, which was joined virtually by Dr. R. Shivakumar, Chairman of SRM Group of Institutions, and his team. Also present was Dr. Joseph Emerson Raja from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), whose initiative and commitment to fostering international collaboration were instrumental in making this partnership possible.

This MoU marks another significant milestone in expanding MMU’s international partnerships, particularly in promoting mutual growth and opportunities between both institutions in the areas of research, academic exchange, and innovation. The ceremony was also attended by Prof. Dr. Wong Eng Kiong, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement and Touchpoint (MEET); Dr. Sy. Nurleyana Wafa Sy. Naguib Wafa, Director of International Collaboration and Engagement (ICE); and other MMU representatives.
