A group of students from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) was entrusted with illustrating murals that highlight Malaysia’s rich biodiversity at the newly renovated headquarters of WWF-Malaysia in Selangor. This effort was part of a meaningful collaboration between Multimedia University (MMU) and WWF-Malaysia, where each mural showcases a significant animal species, including the Rhino Hornbill, Seladang, Hawksbill Turtle, Orang Utan, Malayan Tiger, Malayan Tapir, Proboscis Monkey, Sumatran Rhino, as well as the vibrant Marine Ecosystem.
Guided by a team of exceptional lecturers namely Mr. Badrolhisham Hashim, Mr. Anuar Hassan, Ms. Rosnani Abdul Rahman, Mr. Mohd Ikhwan Mohd Marzuki, Ms. Sharafina Teh Sharifuddin, Mr. Ridzuan Abdul Musa, and Mr. Mohd Khairy Ishar, the students showcased not only their artistic skills but also their passion for environmental awareness and conservation.
The students involved were Puteri Shazatul Iman binti Izzuddin, Nurmaisarah Syafiqah binti Md Nasrul Muhaimun, Zaneeta Senia Aloysius, Aqidd bin Abdullah Aslam, Chong Mei Xin, Ayten Ahmed Samy, Kavinraj Rajasegaran, Sara Irdina binti Muhammad Shahrulnizam, Nurul Iman binti Hamzah, Sarah Elsa binti Anuar, Sheikh Muhammad Fayyadh Baktal bin Sheikh Farhan Bakatal, Yin Jia Qing, and Nur Syahira Rifqah binti Mohamed Rosli.
The official launch and reopening of the WWF-Malaysia office were marked by the unveiling of these inspiring murals in September 2025. Well done to all our students and mentors for their wonderful effort, which brings art and environmental awareness together while showcasing MMU’s creative spirit.
