On 26 August 2025, a dedicated team from the Faculty of Management (FOM), led by Dr. Mohd Fairuz Abdul Rahim, conducted a Design Thinking in Problem Solving programme at Sekolah Seri Puteri, Cyberjaya. The programme was part of the Kursus Kepimpinan Pembimbing Rakan Sebaya (PRS) Sekolah Berasrama Penuh Zon Tengah, which saw the participation of 120 PRS members.

This initiative aimed to strengthen leadership and peer-support competencies among secondary school student leaders. Through the design thinking approach, participants were encouraged to adopt innovative mindsets, explore creative solutions, and enhance collaborative problem-solving skills essential in today’s rapidly evolving world.

Dr. Mohd Fairuz highlighted that design thinking is not only about problem-solving but also about empowering future leaders to approach challenges with creativity, resilience, and empathy. He added that through this initiative, the goal is to cultivate these values among PRS leaders, ensuring they are well-prepared to guide and support their peers. Overall, the programme successfully nurtured future-ready leaders who embody the values of innovation, leadership, and service to society.

Well done!
