MMU & YADIM Join Hands for K-DAMAI 2025

MMU and Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (YADIM) joined hands to organise Konvensyen Antarabangsa Melestari Pembangunan dan Gerakan Dakwah (K-DAMAI) 2025, held at the Cyberjaya campus on 23 September 2025. The convention was officiated by Senator Dato’ Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Na’im Mokhtar, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs).

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, delivered welcoming remarks during the ceremony and expressed appreciation to Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (YADIM) for their trust and collaboration in organising the convention with the university.

Among the panel speakers was Mr. Muhammad Usamah Zaid Yasin, creator of Ejen Ali and recipient of the Maulidur Rasul Award, who shared his insights with participants. Jointly organised by YADIM and MMU, the convention carried the theme “Transformasi dan Strategi Dakwah di Era Pendigitalan.”

The programme brought together scholars, industry experts, academics, and practitioners of dakwah to explore strategies in applying technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Blockchain, animation, and multimedia for impactful religious outreach. It is hoped that K-DAMAI 2025 will serve as a catalyst for a more sustainable and globally relevant dakwah movement.
